Do you want to subscribe to the history of our escape room? Here are some ideas of how to do it:
-
Set up a real team. This means - this time no festive players or those of lesser interest, those who panic, or who do not think logically. In short - the native racers. You should all know each other, have experience with escape rooms, but also experience with puzzles and similar games.
-
Democracy or autocracy? It does not matter in the game. Both systems can be effective, that is, one where everyone is equal and contributing to the work. Or there is one player leader - an autocrat - and he is guiding others to the outcome.
-
Do not get caught. Caught with obstacles that not all room equipment have some meaning. And especially, do not jump on one problem. Usually, you can solve a few things at once, just a small pause and a little cleansing of the mind, and you will soon find another solution. And especially: learn to ignore some things. Windows, plugs, tiles, production numbers on furniture... everything is not a puzzle.
-
Listen to yourself. Shout. Even stupid ideas can finally be right. Communicate as you go! Many problems are solved by a combination of forces. Do not be afraid to scream, in an escape room no one will sue you for interruption of nightly peace.
-
Fan out. There are a number of problems in the room and the most effective thing is if everyone is exploring and not interfering with each other. However, beware, the player-viewer never earns the scoreboard score. You really have to do something, not just observe.
-
Organization vs entropy. Only an organized team can do everything. Put the unused keys on the table, the used keys leave in the locks. View all of the shelters, try everything, but do not use rough force.
-
Request help. Service in the escape room (operators, game masters, sometimes even live actors) are there to have fun. So they do not want to lead you, but they do have to advise you. Request help. And do not be afraid - those who are afraid of climbing the mountain should not go there.
